As a member of your local advertising club, you are a member of the American Advertising Federation (AAF). As the "Unifying Voice for Advertising," the American Advertising Federation (AAF), headquartered in Washington, D.C., with a Western Region office in Newport Beach, Calif., is the trade association that represents 50,000 professionals in the advertising industry. AAF's corporate members are advertisers, agencies and media companies that comprise the nation's leading brands and corporations. AAF has a national network of over 200 ad clubs and connects the industry with an academic base through its 5,000+ student members.

PRO BONO SERVICES DONATED LOCALLY
AAF Sacramento’s FREEThink program has provided over $300,000+ of pro bono services, $60,000+ of In-kind Media Secured and over 134 volunteer hours supporting over 16 local non-profits since 2013.
Most initiatives for AAF Sacramento fall in line with our four core pillars: professional development, education and engagement, mentorship and public services. We refer to this as “PEMP” as in “PEMP It Up!” These four pillars help guide the club to deliver programming for members that align with our mission.
The American Advertising Awards is one of the industry's largest creative competitions, attracting nearly 35,000 professional and student entries each year through local club competitions. FREEThink is a public service initiative helping local non-profits tackle some of their toughest marketing challenges in one design-a-thon weekend. Three teams of 10 are assigned to a local organization to design, strategize and create executable products - OUR PROGRAM IS NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED!
